HCS is in the business of building and researching alternative energy and communications platforms, primarily with, and for Respondcomm. We are collaborating with WVU and WVU Tech to investigate power systems and intelligent power distribution systems (either standard grid/generator based or alternative energy) for specialized power requirements.

We have commissioned a commercialization study for intelligent power distribution opportunities as well as small solar platform opportunities around the world. Based on the results of this study we anticipate gearing up a portable solar platform for use in rural areas of developing countries.
